Banana Blossom Bistro is owned by Annie & Phil - husband and wife and parents of four, including little Emma. Emma has a severe egg allergy that could cause life-threatening anaphylaxis. Because of this, Emma carries an epinephrine auto-injector with her at all times and works to educate her schoolmates, teachers, and other caregivers to help ensure her safety. Parenting is hard; parenting a kid with allergies? Even harder.
Knowing that there are more than 15 million “Emma”s battling food allergies in the U.S., Annie and Phil have founded Banana Blossom Bistro with the mission to prioritize diner safety and actively engage with and support guests requesting ordering assistance, especially those guests with dietary restrictions. Our menus use custom icons to identify ingredients and dishes that contain any of the Top 8 most common allergens: milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, soy, and wheat.
So don’t be shy. We’re looking forward to hearing how we can support your dietary requests at BBB.
Beyond kiddos with dietary restrictions, BBB wants all families to feel welcome and at ease while dining with us. This is why we provide restrooms fully equipped with exceptionally clean and well-maintained diaper-changing stations. And our kids menu offers petite versions of our entrees (minus the non-kid-friendly toppings, like onions and cilantro) and a customizable kids meal. We hold ourselves to the highest standards when it comes to our guests, our food, our service, and our amenities. Whether you’re toting a newborn, a picky eater, or a child with a restricted diet - we’re eager to serve you and your family and provide a safe and welcoming place to gather & make new (& delicious) memories.
